Mrs. Edwards

Hello My Name Is...

Mrs. Edwards

Natalie Edwards

My teaching career began in Rome City Schools where I taught for three years. I then came to Model Middle School where I have been teaching for sixteen years. I feel like Model and the staff and students are my second home and family. There is nowhere else that I would rather be every day. My passion is teaching Georgia history and social studies. I feel that knowing where we have been helps us to know where we are going. There are so many lessons that we can learn from the past.

            A little about my education:
Associate Degree in social work from Floyd College
Bachelor of Science in Education degree from Shorter College
Master of Arts in Education degree from Piedmont College
Degree of Educational Specialist in Curriculum and Instruction from Lincoln Memorial University

I cannot think of a better learning environment for a middle school student than here at Model Middle School. I am very excited to be a part of that experience.
